<span itemprop="description">The design of this bottle was not thought through at all. It’s unclear if the insert is a strainer or a filter to hold the tea. If it’s a filter, it’s too small to hold enough tea and sits too high in the bottle (you have to overfill the line that allows you to take the top off and remove the tea). If it’s a strainer, that means you have to completely empty the bottle into some other container to stop the brewing process. I’m very confused about the intent, since it’s flawed/impractical either way you use it. I think it should just include a longer filter that holds the tea further down in the bottle and can be removed — leaving a convenient bottle of brewed tea.</span>

The instructions are very simple in the product photos on this page, it really can't be easier to use (which I appreciate, a lot of tea accessories can be over complicated). The filter worked well in preventing 99% of tea bits from getting into my cup. It's sturdy and easy to clean.</span>
