I often wakeup around 2AM &amp; toss for an hour or so. I have on the advice of my naturopath incorporated some supplements including magnesium, ashwagandha and now valarian tea. I steep this tea nightly around 8pm and have found I have a very sound sleep! I will go to bed around 10:30pm &amp; sleep to 6:30am! This is a miracle for me. I am so thrilled! The tea has a beautiful caramel undertone to it which plays nicely with the valarian root. I am so happy I have this beautiful evening routine. With the soft caramel notes this blend is liquid dessert and gives a bubbly, happy warmth on a starry night. Rather than pairing this tea with any major food option, I would recommend this tea on its own whilst you are in a blanket, reading a good book, with your beloved pet wanting snuggles. This tea works for me and although I still wake up, I am able to get back to sleep. When I drink this tea, I'll sleep about 6.5-7 hours and that's a great sleep for me. I don't drink this tea every night since sometimes I am able to sleep on my own. The flavour and scent are extremely overwhelming. Artificial coconut scent with a sickly sweet caramel finish. I couldn't finish it and I'm far from picky! I understand that valerian is a hard smell/flavour to mask, but this was just over the top. I'd prefer straight up valerian to this. I tried this one for the sleepy/relaxing qualities that it claims. I've only tried this several times and I'm not sure if it is a placebo effect or if it was actually relaxing but either way I'll take it! Seemed to do what it was advertised to do.
