We decided it was time to give our signature blend a nice new glow-up. By adding a pinch more ingredients famous for their cleansing benefits, we’ve transformed this cleansing tea into a full-on detox dream. David’s Detox is a lemony rooibos wrapped inside a green tea blend with a sprinkling of purifying dandelion root, super herb ginkgo, superfood spirulina and a pinch of ginger. I was anxious when I learned they changed the blend, and after trying it my fears came true. I still had some of the original left and compared the two. You can see in the picture that they look different now with less juniper berries and an overwhelming lemon scent. Once brewed I'm pleased that the new version doesn't have a strong lemon taste but its lacking in flavor. Its missing that earthy bite I loved so much. Now its almost bland, like the knockoff version of a designer handbag. I'm sad they changed something that was already perfect and not for the better. It&rsquo;s got a more fruity flavour than before. To me it use to have a really earthy flavour which I really liked and when I recently bought more, because it&rsquo;s one of my staple teas, it tasted and smelled way more fruity and just didn&rsquo;t taste as good.
