And when you're ready to sip, just place the steeper right on your cup. You'll feel a rush as the weight magically opens a valve, and your infused tea flows out through a specially-designed filtration system. <span itemprop="description">I've wanted to switch to loose-leaf tea for a while now but I didn't enjoy using small infusers. This steeper makes it so simple to make myself a perfect cup of tea. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and how there is no leakage. Although, the tray that's included does help my worry when I think it'll leak. I would recommend this steeper to any tea lovers who want to make the switch to loose tea.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I gave this to my son who drinks a lot of tea. I also gave him some nice Ikea 12 oz glass mugs. The mugs didn't fit the teapot. He thought it was an interesting way to dispense the tea and liked the colour so I wouldn't return it. It might have been better if it told you the size of mug it would accommodate. Just saying.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It was okay for the first week or so but then it started to allow small then larger bits of tea into my cup: like sediment from water at the bottom of a coffee cup. Now it leaks: while I am waiting for my tea to steep, it leaks out of the bottom: I lost half a cup of tea before I caught it. It is a slow leak. I have only emptied and rinsed the steeper: no chemicals or soaps.</span>
