The filter is great as wasn't damaged when I got it. The only problem I had with it is, because there's no air relief hole, the tea pours out super slowly. If you look in the bottom of the lid it looks like there was an attempt to make a relief hole, but it wasn't actually made. I simply just drilled a hole into the lid and the liquid pours out much faster. This should've been something they thought of when manufacturing but, overall, I think this is an okay product that I would recommend.
Date published: 2020-06-13

Rated 2 out of 5 by Patrick_ from Idea is great, execution is not I received this product and was immediately a little sceptical... The opening to pour is very very small and my assumption about it was correct. The pour is very slow and is impractical for the size and kind of container. I also received it and there was already a rip in the steeper... After cleaning it once with a soft dish brush a second rip came on the unit. Overall, the idea of the product is good and the handles, size and look are nice but the thing that makes it what it is (the spout) is not practical at all and the steeper on my unit is unfortunately brittle.
Date published: 2020-06-02

Rated 1 out of 5 by 2POTADAYHABIT from Poorly designed and constructed This pitcher looks great and will fit in the fridge door as advertised. I loved the idea of being able to easily brew loose leaf iced teas thanks to the long steeper in the centre. Unfortunately, the product was poorly made. There were already two rips in the steeper along the bottom edge when I took it out of its box. For fruity teas with larger pieces (which is what I use for iced tea), I didn't think this would be a big issue, so I went ahead and brewed a pot. That part went smoothly. When the tea was chilled and ready to pour, I discovered the second problem: the spout is small and there is no vent, so the tea trickles out of the container. I eventually unscrewed the top to pour myself a proper glass. I figured it would take 5 minutes to fill a glass otherwise.
Date published: 2020-06-04

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cindy93 from Does a good job and very convenient When I first used this pitcher, I had the same issues as others have mentioned with the dribbling pour. However, I took a closer look at the lid and noticed a partially sealed hole. I used a toothpick to poke through it and now the pitcher pours great! I think the biggest problem is how cheaply it's made. Like the partially sealed air hole, there were other bits of excess plastic from molding. But for the price (I paid less than $15 after sale + coupon) I think it works great, especially compared to other tea pitchers that are ~$40. I've made ice tea using both hot steep and cold brew and both ways are yummy :)
Date published: 2020-08-29

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katie_ from Reviews are spot on. I highly regret not reading the reviews of this item prior to buying! A few years ago David’s Tea removed the air relief holes out of their to-go cups for some reason and now they’re really hard to drink from, this item suffers from the same design failure. It barely trickles out of the spout when you go to pour it and is super annoying. Such an easy thing to fix (and something a beverage company should already be well aware of), I highly regret my purchase.
Date published: 2020-06-13

Rated 1 out of 5 by OliviaK from Poor Design I received this iced tea jug yesterday. It looks really nice, but the design is incredibly poor. The tea infuser itself is slightly too short for the jug, making it difficult to pull out after the tea is finished steeping without burning yourself. The handle on top gets in the way more than anything else when you're sliding the lid in order to pour. Now with the pouring. Life is too short to wait 55 seconds (yes, I timed it) to pour a glass of iced tea. This iced tea jug is a classic example of form over function.
Date published: 2020-06-04

Rated 3 out of 5 by am1607 from That pour... Should have read the reviews before ordering. There are some pros, one being its slender shape which fits well in my fridge door, and the built-in infuser is practical and was my main reason for purchasing this item. But whoever designed this pitcher should have perhaps tested it at some point ? The pour is ridiculously slow, it does work a little better once you slightly unscrew the lid, but then I worry about spilling my tea.... it would have been perfect otherwise .
Date published: 2020-06-05

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicko from Horrible design! What a waste of money!!! I received the pitcher a few days ago and I was so excited to prepare a batch of our favorite iced tea. The design of the lid is horrible. It pour so slow that I need to completely remove the lid to be able to pour a glass otherwise it takes forever... The description also says it's designed to fit in the refrigerator door but the pitcher barely fits. For the price they sell this pitcher I was expecting a better and functional pitcher.
