The grip necessary to get the lid off misshapens the container, increasing the force necessary to remove it, a battle that ends with the fear that tea will go flying the moment the lid finally gives way. The top used to be thicker, with a protruding interior that fit down into the tin. Now the top is more hollowed, and it seems that it doesn't fit as tightly. I'm finding that my tea doesn't stay fresh for quite as long.
