<span itemprop="description">The new tins feature thinner metal that warps upon contact. The grip necessary to get the lid off misshapens the container, increasing the force necessary to remove it, a battle that ends with the fear that tea will go flying the moment the lid finally gives way. This cost-saving initiative is likely going to end up with these in the trash - they do not safely store my tea if I can't get them open.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This tin is good at keeping tea fresh for a few months, but I'm sad that they've changed the way that the lid fits recently. The top used to be thicker, with a protruding interior that fit down into the tin. Now the top is more hollowed, and it seems that it doesn't fit as tightly. I'm finding that my tea doesn't stay fresh for quite as long. It's still an improvement over the zip-top baggies that smaller amounts of tea come in, but it was better before they changed the design.</span>

If you keep putting labels on labels on labels, it looks disgusting with washing. Teaopia labels easily peeled off the tins so you could reuse them.</span>

When you order loose tea online in a bag, they typically send a label with it for the tin. You could probably also go into a store and ask for a label if that&rsquo;s available to you.

I&rsquo;ve found the tightly closed tin keeps the tea fresh for over a year. I keep Earl Grey for guests as I never drink it myself, and it&rsquo;s still as fragrant as when I bought it&hellip;....I keep it in a cool pantry.
