<span itemprop="description">I bought this knowing it would be fragile from the comments, so I took great care of it. When I received it, there was an glass bubble at the bottom of the cup. I wasn't too picky about that since it didn't affect the use of the cup. One month after I received it, I accidentally nudged it with my keyboard and it fell over on my desk and just broke from that. I always hand washed it and was very careful with it, and I dont think a mug that will break from regular use in about a month of buying it can be considered a good purchase.
Would've been one star but customer service at least tried to help me out, and it has been resolved. I love DavidsTea but I won't buy similar mugs/glasses from them again.</span>

I love drinking out of my glass tea mugs as they are very light and easy to hold. Unfortunately this tea mug is not holding up like the others I have had for years!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Although these types of mugs are lovely (pretty designs, not hot to the touch when hot tea is held), they are too fragile/break easily as other customers have mentioned. The inner layer of my leafy glass mug has shattered for no apparent reason. I did not drop or bang this cup on anything; have only been hand washing it and after 8 months of normal use, it's broken! See the attached picture.
This is a hard pass! Cheap material and quality isn't there. Customers beware. Don't waste your money on this item and get something else instead.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My husband loves the simplicity of this mug I got him for his Xmas stocking and you can see the colour of the tea through it. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it feels so light and fragile and we’ve only been using it a few weeks so not sure how it will hold up long term. It says you can you put it in the dishwasher but we’ve been hand washing it because it feels so delicate.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love to watch it steep and you can hold it without it being to hot but will still warm your hands. I have one with a bit of a design on it, the cottages one but pretty much same cup and I love it. Latttes look so pretty in it. I love the size and shape and wish they would have more perfect cup designs to choose from because the perfect spoon holds the right amount of tea for this size. It is light and seems delicate but I’m careful and haven’t had any problems, I’ve had it about a year now.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I initially ordered two of these mugs and liked them so much that I ordered two more with each subsequent tea order to the point where I now have 8. I like the shape, the size of the handle which offers a firm grip for both large and small hands. The insulation keeps a drink hot or cold for slow drinkers. It is also the perfect size for my Nespresso when I am looking for a change from tea. It can also go in both microwave and dishwasher. That is the clincher for me.</span>

Yes. Double walled glasses are meant to keep hot contents hot and cold contents cold. The pocket of vacuumed air in between the inner and outer layer prevents loss or gain of thermal energy; it is very similar to how a thermos or insulated water bottle works.

I have a double walled Nordic mug and it prevents it from the mug being too hot, I&rsquo;m sure it&rsquo;s the same for this perfect mug as well :)
