I used it for just 3 months and it is already in need of replacement with the bristles fraying and breaking off into the tea. Other chasen I have owned lasted for over two years with the same level of use and same care of storage. If you want a similar quality to this they can be found online from cheap manufacturers and retailers for between $6 - $10, much less than what DAVIDsTEA sells this for. Please do not buy this.
