The neck is big enough that cleaning it isn't problematic either, and there are no oddly shaped crevices that are tough to clean like the lid of my iced tea press. It's not as fine as their Nordic mug infusers, the ones that used to come with their mugs, so if you're steeping something really fine and leafy, expect sediment. For most of the iced teas I've made (except for Raspberry Mojito) the infuser ring has been totally AOK for disallowing big chunks into my tea. The pour is nice and fast 'cause there's so much airflow, no issue with super slow pours like that recent plastic pitcher. It holds just below 2 litres of liquid filled all the way to the top. It's a lil' too tall to fit in my fridge, one of those french door ones with smaller shelves. If you have some height available on your fridge door though I bet it would totally fit there! And the reason I didn't give it 5/5 is because it feels like I need to be delicate with it, not unlike my glass Nordic mug or double-walled mugs. In the back of my head I know it wouldn't shatter if I poured one-handed by the handle, but I'm so afraid of that happening, or cracking a corner by setting it down firmly, that I'm just a lil' paranoid with being careful. The glass does not feel thick. That really might be a "just me" thing though, I don't have a lot of thin glassware. Much more used to chunky, thick ceramics. So, recommended unless you make a habit of knocking stuff over!
Date published: 2020-07-06

Rated 3 out of 5 by Meh1977 from Not sure about this I like the look of the picture but I don’t understand how you are supposed to steep tea in it to the proper length of time. You can’t take the infuser out like you would normally. I don’t typically drink 2ltrs of iced tea at a go so the tea will just sit in the water for a day or more? Will that not cause over steeping? I kinda regret this purchase already
Date published: 2020-08-19

Rated 3 out of 5 by sarah13! from Faulty I just received this a couple days ago and was so excited to use. After making my first batch in it and was ready I decided to pour a glass. Was surprised that in my glass was all tiny pieces of the loose leaf tea. The seal did seem tight and nothing looks wrong with it but the leaves keep coming through and getting in my drink. Tried several times and still the same thing. I really wanted to love this as it is just as the pictures shows and I do prefer glass over plastic but was unfortunately not worth the price and was faulty.
Date published: 2020-10-06

y_2020, m_10, d_19, h_17

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.12

cp_1, bvpage1

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_3

loc_en_CA, sid_904222DT01VAR0084766, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_davidstea

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 12ms

reviews, product
