The shape of the mug is perfect for optimal tea enjoyment. The colour changing is subtle but nice to know if your tea is cooling down. It says not to use in microwave but I risked 30 seconds without any issues to the mug. The only problem I had was when I opened the box upon receiving the lid was missing. I contacted customer service and they instantly sent me a two pack of clear lids for free. The size is comfortable, and yet it hold a large amount of liquid. Having the tea insert is fabulous! This is the first time that I have had that in a cup and I prefer that over a pot of tea for myself. The lid is very handy in keeping liquids warm.
