How does this superwow accessory work? Like a teapot. Except the clear, BPA-free Tritan™ lets you watch as your tea steeps. And when you're ready to sip, just place the steeper right on your cup. You'll feel a rush as the weight magically opens a valve, and your infused tea flows out through a specially-designed filtration system. Then, when you lift the steeper, the valve closes automatically. It just might be the neatest, coolest way to steep.

Instructions
Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
1. Place tea leaves directly inside the Steeper.
2. Pour hot water over tea leaves and steep as usual.
3. Put the Steeper on top of your mug or ice-filled glass and watch the tea magically pour out.

<span itemprop="description">Absolutely love the steeper. It allows me to make two full 16 oz. cups of tea. The tea stays warm after it steeps allowing for two lovely cups enjoyed. It's a bit of a pain to clean the tea leaves out into the garbage but rinses well and center filter cone removes to ensure all fines are removed before next use. I wouldn't have known about the center cone if my daughter didn't have one and showed me how it worked. Cleaning instructions would be helpful. Regardless, a welcome addition to my kitchen.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love to prepare my tea in the steeper. It is very practical and easy to use. I am very happy I bought the 32 oz, because I always drink more than one cup or someone in the house will just grab a cup. I wasn't sure if the cleaning would bug me, because it has a lot of parts, but not at all. If you rinse it with hot water everyday, it is easy to keep clean.</span>

<span itemprop="description">i bought a 16 oz steeper and all i do to wash it is put soap in it with hot water and scrub it and then open the bottom to let that rinse itsenf and it cleans it self!!!! NO NEEDING to take it apart and wash it all piece by piece like some people do which is silly but if people need to work that hard to clean such an easy plastic tea steeper then your doing it way wrong!! i use this every day and i rinse it out when im done!! want to buy the 32 oz one because my mom keeps asking if she can have a pot from the same steeper. so now i will have a single use one and a double use one!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is amazing! What a difference in direct contact with water vs a filter! It’s like having a k cup vs the espresso machine - the flavours come out and are perfect. It works well for any loose leaf tea since the sieve has small holes. It’s also incredible handy and you can see the colours so well. Highly recommend!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I adore it. If you’re debating it for some reason just get it, our lives are legitimately better. We use it with the double walled diamond cup to get a few glasses out of it, or with a Nordic mug and get two huge cups out of it. When I clean it I just take a spoon and scrap out the large pieces into the garbage and then swirl running water around the inside and BOMB it’s rinsed and good for a new day or a different round of tea. Pouring tea out of the bottom has not gotten old!!</span>

Yes. The stores all use this steeper for iced tea. It seems to be the best way to make iced tea.

It really depends on the size of your mug. You can put in less tea and less water but it is not as efficient. We usually get 3 large mugs out of a pot.
