<span itemprop="description">This new blend caught us a bit off guard with its scent at first, reminiscent of the vanilla chocolates you'd find in a Pot of Gold at Christmas (not a bad thing at all!), but once brewed, the vanilla we hoped for was front and center. I would occasionally put vanilla in my Earl Grey but this works even better with the fresh vanilla standing front and center without the bergemot notes vying for dominance. The secondary role belongs to coconut but again, it doesn't overpower which was a relief. I was worried about the hibiscus getting rowdy (and frankly, who doesn't?) but was pleased it climbed into the back seat and stayed there. Can you tell I love vanilla? If you do to, GET THIS.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Once again I am disappointed that Stevia was added. Why do so many David's Teas add this ingredient now? Anyone can add sweetness to a tea if they want it but you cannot remove it once it's in the blend. I was hoping for a note of vanilla, but I feel like I'm drinking sweetened brown water only.
Side note: I would ask that less packaging be used for large online purchases please. If I buy 500g of one tea, I don't want 10x50g pouch. Put it all in one larger bag please.. And no filling in the box. It's just tea, not breakable. Thank you.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I should know better by now, each time David’s tea adds stevia to one of their products, I should stay away. The stevia flavour is so overpowering. It just makes the vanilla flavour taste artificial. It’s awful as a hot drink, and improved only slightly when made into an iced latté. Please stop adding stevia to your teas.</span>

Totally ruined a potentially nice summer ice tea with it. I've gone back to another brand of vanilla black that's smart enough to put more vanilla in and leave the artificial sweeteners out which frankly I think is too cover poor quality</span>

Sadly I found I didn’t get as much vanilla as I was hoping for. it also just had this off smell and taste to it. I’ll try brewing it a couple more times and see if I can find a sweet spot but overall not hopeful my opinion will change.</span>

Just got this vanilla bean black tea and when I smelled it, I got sort of a alcohol smell from it. Just wondering if that&rsquo;s normal or if I got an off batch as this is my first time buying this type of tea. (I haven&rsquo;t steeped it yet to try the flavour)&nbsp;

I definitely got a alcohol type smell from mine as well, however I think it is more of an extract smell from the vanilla. You don&rsquo;t taste it at all once brewed

This tea has white hibiscus in it. Most of the time hibiscus makes milk curdle but this one suggests it be used as a latte. Is white hibiscus different?
