Dark Chocolate Orange Tea

I loved the smell, it reminded me of Terrys Oranges right away and thought it&rsquo;s would be a new fav. My husband had the opposite reaction and didn&rsquo;t like the smell. Unfortunately it is weak in flavour, even with a long steep for a small cup. No re-steep value like the yummier Cardamon French Toast. I couldn&rsquo;t finish it, as the flavour is not good. None of that translates to flavour. And the more it cools, the worse it gets as the nasty, unnecessary stevia comes into play. Stop putting stevia in the tea. I figured it would be great because I love dark chocolate, orange, and all things combined. Opened the package and it smelt fairly good. Brewed it and it was gross. I can't put my finger on what exactly it is, but it didn't taste like chocolate orange. Almost like an artificial/ chemical weird taste. Had a few more sips cause I figured maybe it needed a second chance. Still was gross and had this lingering taste. So I figured I would add milk to it. Still terrible. Think this the only cup of tea I've ever dumped out from David's tea ever. I mean there have been ones I don't care for, but I've still drank them. No way I could choke this down. This was so good and definitely one I indulged in again and again. The taste did not leave a disgusting palette hangover. It was smooth and pleasing, enjoyable when steeped according to the instructions and drank hot. Just the fragrance alone was enticing. Reminded me of the orange chocolate balls we had during the holidays. I would highly recommend this tea with a warning... You'll want to drink it all the time, one after the other... There's a caffeine kick so slow down and let the drink soothe you in front of a warm fire or outside while watching the kids laugh and enjoy winter frolics. This is the perfect tea to take on outings or enjoy while reading that savored novel. I give this tea a ten out of ten. Two points for fragrance, two points for steeping, two points for richness, two points for flavor, two points for enjoyability. Just lovely. The dark chocolate is nice a rich tasting and the orange makes a nice balance of flavours.
