I love chai. So why didn't this tea impress me? It's a fine tea. If I'm in a happy mood, I might even say it's a good tea. But it doesn't taste like a chai. At all. It's a wonderful tea for fall, I often drank it on morning walks when the leaves were turning color. If you enjoy comforting teas, star anise (the flavor is very prevalent), and a hint of apple, give this a try. But don't expect a robust chai. Side note, the tea itself is very very heavy and bulky, so it's often hard to get a balanced infusion. You won't get many cups out of this compared to other 50g teas. Didn't notice the star anise until it got here. Taste like hot black licorice with a slight apple after taste. I saved it by dumping the whole bag and picking through it to remove the anise and then emptying tea bags from another apple tea I bought elsewhere that wasn't quite strong enough for my liking. Made it drinkable, but I will not buy again. This is also a very heavy tea so you will not get much out of it.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-05-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-05-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="225403687"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">emilia.fm</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Major Fall Vibes!</span> <span itemprop="description">This one is so so warming and delicious! I usually love anything that has to do with apples in the fall, so I knew I would love this one just by the name. The only thing that could make this one better would be if it was a caffeinated chai, it would be sooooooo yummy first thing in the morning.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2019-10-19</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2019-10-19" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="253248791"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">GirlAerialist</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">LOVE! Like the former Spiced Apple Tea</span> <span itemprop="description">Picked this up on a whim and LOVE it. I was so happy that it was like a discontinued tea I used to love that was caffeine and sugar free - I believe it was called Spiced Apple or Spiced Apple Cider or something like that. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because when I tried steeping it using the Davids Tea Ball it didn't impart a ton of flavour - you couldn't put enough of it in as the elements in it are chunky. However, the second time I made it, I put it straight in the cup and was much better AND I was able to add more water as I got to the end of my huge cup and it still imparted great flavour. Would work well in one of the steepers as it would allow it to sit in the water and be strained out.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-12-30</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-12-30" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="225177099"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">2</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">KateT</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Disappointed</span> <span itemprop="description">The name sounded appealing and it smelled good in the store so I bought some to try.
