<span itemprop="description">This is my go to Matcha. Although the price tag is high for the “Organic Ceremonial” i do recommend it over the $10 cheaper “ceremonial”. I tested it out last time and the ceremonial didn’t mix quite as well at the start. I noticed it was stickier somehow. The organic ceremonial melts into the water better off the hop. I do t know what that means but I enjoy it more. Honestly, what’s an extra $10 anyway for better. Not much extra per cup… I use 1/2 teaspoon of this daily in hot water and 1/3 oat milk with my collagen and maybe sometimes a dash of vanilla extract. The only thing I dislike is how it is packaged. I end up moving it into the tin and adding hot water to the bag to get the leftover matcha out. Otherwise Love it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought two 50g bags of the Ceremonial Matcha (to get free shipping) because I had bought it a couple times before and thought it was a good tried and true option, but was pretty bummed when I had my first few cups this time around. Maybe it's a bad batch but this bag tastes way earthier than the previous ceremonial matcha bags I've had from Davids and the colour is way browner. It's borderline undrinkable. It's also super clumpy in the bag, and even after using a bamboo whisk for a minute or two, there is sediment at the bottom of your glass. I'm not new to matcha at all (i'm japanese lol) but this batch disappointed me and I really wish I didn't buy 2 bags.</span>

You pay more for the container, and I assumed the container would be sealed but it's a regular tin with no air tight lid so it's not going to keep the matcha as fresh over time - and for the amount of matcha there is I feel like this is important or a reasonable thought. The matcha itself comes in a separate sealed plastic bag that you are to remove the matcha yourself from the bag to the tin... I feel like this took too long, was messy, and that I lost a good amount of matcha in the process. Next time I'll just get the usual resealable bag I would get. The matcha itself is great, but the tin option isn't my fave.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don’t have a matcha whisk and I found minimal clumping turning it into a paste and slowly adding water that way mixing with a spoon or fork , creamy texture and flavour , I like it a lot better than the grand cru which tastes kind of grassy but in a good way? Lol the grand cru was harder to mix without a whisk and clumpier, I’m sure had I had the right equipment to mix both matcha they’d be even better , however , I’m glad I splurged on the ceremonial matcha it really is the best in my opinion, will be buying more and recommending this matcha for sure</span>

Hard to say, would likely be around 5 probably like a cup of coffee. Whatever you add to it would have the calories. It isn't sweetened like some of the others.
