<span itemprop="description">I made this for the first time this morning, using frothed oat milk, and was very unhappy when I realized I'd finished it; it's been a while since I so thoroughly enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate! The spices were wonderful balanced with the sweet chocolate. The mushroom flavour was present more as a hint of earthiness, definitely secondary to the cinnamon, and I like the way it made the drink feel somewhat "grounded" if that makes any sense. I will be buying more, to make sure I have some to drink all winter long.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this on sale, since there were not enough reviews on the 3 superfood hot chocolates, but I am so happy I bought this one! This ‘Shroom Boom Superfood’ tastes just like a Mexican Hot Chocolate, it has a nice kick to it with a little spice lingering at the back of your throat (which I love). If you don’t like spice, this won’t be for you, but it has a nice light chocolate taste, is not earthy, and is the perfect tea hot chocolate I will drink all winter.
I followed the directions, however I used my Breville Milk Frother to first heat up the milk for a minute, added 2 Perfect Spoons (for 16oz mug), and then let the frother continue to heat/mix the milk and hot chocolate powder together until it was ready. I topped mine with whip cream and it made me so happy :).
I hope this one stays or at least continues to come back each year because I am a ‘shroom boom superfood’ fan!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love all the hot chocolates they came out with, it's nice to find mixes that aren't loaded with sugar. The powder is so smooth too, it dissolves well with no grittiness like some drink mixes I've tasted. I did taste the spice in this one quite a bit though.</span>
