It's described as a richer version of Coffee Pu'erh, but it has way more of a Vanilla Chai vibe for some reason. It's not bad, but not quite what I thought it would be. It also has a bit of an odd almost chocolate flavour in the background, as well as the cinnamon. The black tea base is also definitely present in the mix. I had to add sugar and cream to this as it felt too bitter/astringent as-is. It might be excellent as an iced latte. Definitely a "try before you buy". I would say if you like the Vanilla Chai, or Coffee Pu'erh you may like this one. For what it's worth I much prefer Coffee Pu'erh.
Date published: 2020-09-11

Rated 3 out of 5 by JennieB from Espresso yourself Was looking for a replacement for Coffee Pu’erh as it has been my favourite for years. It is nothing like the coffee pu'erh, to me it tastes a lot like the vanilla chai organic which I also found to be horrible despite the fact that I love chia tea.
