I've spent thousands of dollars on tea from DavidsTea. I have never complained or returned anything. Usually, everything arrives intact, but this time, somehow the tea wheel came broken. I didn't buy it for myself. I wanted to gift it to a friend for Christmas. I can't anymore. I have the tea in the box as loose leaf, I don't want it for myself. The box was the whole deal for this particular purchase. There are two tears that show even if I try to fix the bottom. But how lame to gift that, I'm terrible at crafts. Long story short, I was offered 20% off, or I can pay for shipping out of my own pocket to get my money back. Customer service is also terrible. I'll refrain from buying tea from now on. Much better than giving candy or some trinket. However I find that David&rsquo;s tea needs to modernize their system for online ordering. I had no idea as to when the product would be delivered. Since I was buying this for a gift, I did not know if it would arrive on time. This caused me lots of stress. it did arrive two days before I needed it. Very little information received from company, and they did not provide a slow shipping warning before purchase. We got updated everyday saying delete was delayed for up to 3 weeks. This is the second time this happens to us.
