The mug is very lightweight with a spacious handle. Beautiful colour and dishwasher safe*. I used it about 3 to 4 times and went to make tea today, but I knocked it over on the counter and it cracked. Would be nice to make these a bit more durable, since the mug simply tipped over and cracked (did not fall off of counter). The crack does not currently affect function (did not crack through), but it is still disappointing. *I would be careful to wash this by hand rather than using in dishwasher, as it break so easily. I would also be careful to wash this separately ASAP as I could see it breaking if you hit it with another dish. The mug is very good quality, the lid for the mug is a lot deeper then most of the David&rsquo;s tea mugs so it holds more of the water drip off, easy to clean, I have many mugs so I let my loose leaf dry over night and it dumps perfectly into the compost or garbage, perfect amount of sample tea, they are all delicious and I&rsquo;ve ordered more of their kind! Shipping was quick, packaged well. Mug says (on bottom) dishwasher &amp; microwave safe. I immediately put it in the dishwasher on gentle cycle. It came out very cracked, and broken. Contacted customer service, they said they were not dishwasher safe!! I would have liked a replacement, however, I was given a refund- so can't really complain. They were very helpful. First time, I had it for about a week, used it daily, and one day I went to reach for it and it had cracked somehow. I didn&rsquo;t put it in the dishwasher and I washed it and put it away after each use (honestly pretty extra type of care that I don&rsquo;t usually give my other mugs as most things go in the dishwasher). So because I loved it so much, I reordered it thinking it was a fluke. Second mug arrived completely broken, I&rsquo;m talking like in pieces!!! So I called and they shipped me a replacement. This mug arrived not damaged, but after 3 days of careful use, I see somehow it&rsquo;s broken at the rim again. I have a handful of other Nordic mugs that have lasted me years. Needless to say I am disappointed and irritated at how much of a waste of time and money that whole journey was. Love the concept but please make it a better quality item!
