kiss me, kiss me
This is probably the world's best chocolate black tea. Honestly. A totally decadent blend of Chinese black tea, vanilla, peppermint, chocolate bits and spicy red peppercorns, it’s better than dessert. More reliable than sex. It even has little red candy lips for a kiss of sweetness. In other words, this spicy black tea is a completely satisfying experience with no guilt or strings attached.

The "new" read my lips is Awful
I have faithfully drank this tea daily for the last 4 years and the new product released this fall (after the surprise hiatus) is TERRIBLE. The formula tastes like stevia and chemicals. I will not be buying this product ever again. I am disappointed that David's tea has made this change when so many people loved this product. I understand wanting to grow the marketplace but this was a huge (and unpleasant) switch.

Change the formula back - the new version is awful
It's been my favourite tea since 2013, the amount I drank it throughout the years is unbelievable. Just tried the new version and it's absolutely horrible. It's like a different tea altogether, the only thing left the same is the name, and I think this new formula doesn't even deserve to carry that name. Change it back - you are losing permanent clients and missing out on revenue.

Not a fan of the new version
This was my daily morning tea for YEARS, and I was so disappointed when it was unexpectedly unavailable in the spring. When it came back, I bought a large tin of it, but it’s not the same. There is a new formulation that is nowhere near as good as the original. I can’t say exactly what is different, but it has almost a floral quality, which is sickly and gross. Please, bring back the original.

This has been my go to tea now for the past 8 years.. It was pulled from the shelf back in March 2019,and brought back October 2019.. So disappointed
This was my absolute favorite tea for years. Excited to see it back on the shelves this winter, I bought several tins of it and was utterly disappointed when I made a cup of as soon as I got home. It tastes nothing like the original. It used to taste like chocolate mint but now all I can taste is stevia. It has a very bitter aftertaste and it's just gross!

New Formula is a DUD
I really wish I would have noticed that this was a different formula from the one a few years ago (I had a nice stock- and just recently needed a restock). It definitely does not have the same minty flavour the old formula did— which is sad because that was the thing I loved the most. And then for stevia to be added to it on top of that? Blech. Like previous comments: if I wanted stevia in my tea, I could add it myself. Bring back the old recipe.

Heartbroken
As with others here, this has been my daily go to for years, I make it as a latte with Pacific's Chocolate Hazelnut milk (unbelievable!) It's one of the favourite parts of my day. Trying to understand, 1. what it would take for David's Tea to continue with this tea and 2. what it would take to revert back to the original recipe. Overall, there really aren't any other teas I'll drink, so not only will I lose out on one of the best parts of my day, but Davids will be losing a customer:(
