I am a VERY serious Earl Grey drinker. My favorite earl grey tea has been Stash's Double Bergamot Earl Grey Tea. This Earl Grey is right up there, the quality of ingredients is on par, if not even better than Stash's. however, Stash will always have a place in my cupboard because I love the DOUBLE bergamot. If David's Tea made a Double Bergamot Earl Grey... it would replace my Stash completely. That being said, some people don't want that heavy, double bergamot flavor, and so I highly recommend this tea to anyone that love Earl Grey. Even with my love of Stash's Double... I keep this stocked in my cupboard as well for the days I want a more traditional Earl Grey with an unbeatable taste!

Bergamotty!
A great breakfast tea. It's very bergamotty - I usually use Twining's (yes, I know) as my barometer to judge my Earl Greys - and almost overwhelmingly so when dry compared to the Twining's. I don't get lavender like previous reviewers have stated at all. It's better steeped for a shorter amount of time, so it doesn't get too sour (my first steep is around 4 minutes), the way I steep my Kenyan Tinderet.
FWIW, I know everyone loves the Cream of Earl Grey, but I prefer this (traditional) version over that, as the vanilla notes can be a bit cloying.

I used to love this tea, I'd rave about it to my friends, and I'd drink it every morning and many times while I studied. However, around 6 months ago I bought a bag and it was disgusting. No longer my lovely, strong black tea, but instead a weird flavour, too perfume-y, and I simply cannot drink the rest of the bag. So dissapointing, I am back on the hunt for something that will satisfy, so far none of the grocery store brands are cutting it. Bring back my old tea!!

Amazing smell & tasting Earl Grey tea!
Such a great Earl Grey tea! We always buy the massive box of Twinings Earl Grey tea from Costco because you cannot get that price for that amount of tea anywhere else in the world (it’s around $10 for 100 tea bags!). I’ve been drinking that tea for years and still love it, but I find I like to have a stronger tasting Earl Grey tea some of the time. This tea smells and tastes amazing! It reminds me of a Higgins and Burke or Tazo type of taste and strength. I love the tea leaves in particular because that way you can make it as strong or weak as you like it. I tend to drink tea very weak so I love that I can put as little or much in a tea bag as I want.

Fantastic tea but hate the environmental impact!
ordered 400 g - 8 (8!!) tins arrived, each with a plastic bag inside. sorry environment, david's tea hates you. i miss actual bulk ordering so i can refill my large tin with no plastic involved. when posting this review there is a list of guidelines to follow to the side, one stating to avoid writing about customer service and contact them instead. i wrote when my tea hadn't shipped out 3 weeks since I ordered. no reply. called, left a msg and asked for a return call. i got an auto reply via email the next day saying there were shipping delays. F for effort at customer service.
the tea is decent but it is not worth this. can't recommend this to anyone in good concscience.
