Earthy Beige Textured Nordic Mug

I am using the dark blue one while I write this review actually. Unlike other responses listed, I had no issues with ordering or receiving this mug correctly or in a timely manor, though I think I ordered it perhaps earlier then most of the other reviewers. I am sorry to hear they had issues. So far I have had very good customer service with David's Tea. One other mug I ordered in the past had a small but noticeable blemish and I called and they gave me a full refund for it. Anyways, outside of the customer service, on to the mug itself. Is this my best looking mug from David's Tea?, no. Is it my favorite mug? also no. So why did I give it 5 stars? I have a busy house with kids. We are not perfect, our dishes are not always washed every night. I use my mugs basically every day. My mugs with nice designs or which are colour changing, I really enjoy the look of, but they can sometimes sit on the counter for a few days before we end up hand washing them. These textured mugs, just chuck them into the top rack in the dishwasher and forget about them. The Nordic mugs are the perfect size in my opinion, not to small, not to big. The lighter colouring inside the mug makes the tea colour noticable. Basically, these textured mugs are what I consider my low effort &quot;daily drivers&quot; while I keep the fancier ones and use them when I feel like a little more special experience knowing I'll need to spend the time later on hand washing as a tradeoff. I've been using it all day today. Its holds a lot of liquid for western style brewing. The Steeper Basket that comes with it does an excelent job of letting your tea leaves fully unfurl and give all they have to offer, especially if you're having a 'Garden to Cup' Tea, such as a Sencha, etc. It's actually quite mesmerizing to watch. The lid is great for covering while steeping, and for holding your steeper in between steeps, as well keeping your tea warm in between sips! Cleaning the steeper is easy. Turn it upside down and just plop the bulk of the tea leaves onto a paper towel. Then, turn it upside down and run some hot water over it. It will be as shiny and new as when you purchased it! I love the ordinary ceramic nature of this mug. I have an aversion to using glass with hot liquids, so this was perfect. It has a very nice, grip-able texture on the outside, so I no longer have any excuse to be a spilly drinker! So far, so good!
