Period.</span> <span itemprop="description">This has been my most favourite black tea ever! If you haven't tried; you should. You don't have to add anything to it. It has a creamy, sweet and peppermint cool flavour (along with other combined flavours). It's creamy - yet not overly heavy. Plus, for us that appreciate caffeine; it is a yummy black tea. Leaving your mouth taste like Christmas! Downside is it's a &quot;holiday tea&quot; - so for 9 months out of the year I'm waiting for this fabulous tea to be available; if I don't buy in bulk. (Which is tricky as they always seem to be out). The benefits of peppermint and black tea is always a bonus too, and the taste is perfect!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-01-06</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-01-06" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="275866468"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">M&egrave;re du th&eacute;</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Beware of Ingredient Change</span> <span itemprop="description">I was just coming to the site to purchase my large batch of this tea and to my surprise the ingredients have changed and have drastically impacted the taste profile of the original tea. This was my absolute favourite tea. Last year I bought enough to last me the entire year and I was hoping to do the same this year. I understand the desire to source more sustainable ingredients but perhaps there&rsquo;s an opportunity to offer the original and this one as a separate option. David&rsquo;s Tea typically has phenomenal customer service so my hope is that this feedback is something they will make note of and review possible solutions, if any.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-12-02</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-12-02" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="275676798"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">MarniG</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">BEWARE - RECIPE HAS CHANGED!!!</span> <span itemprop="description">This used to be one of my favourite teas. I waited for it every year and then would buy enough to stock up and last me until the next season. I did the same last week and was excited to make my first cup of tea today. It was AWFUL!!! Turns out they changed the recipe - but they make no indication of it in the description. This should have been marketed as a completely different tea under a different name. It is nothing like the original and tastes like mouthwash. Please bring back the original recipe! I just wasted nearly $50 on tea that is going to end up in the garbage!</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-11-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-11-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="250096316"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">fynn : D</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Love this one</span> <span itemprop="description">One of the few teas i bought full price, and dont regret it. its really good. the black tea in it is pretty subtle, and the mint is very strong. if you want the candies and chocolate to full incorporate in the tea, i recommend steeping it looseleaf and either drinking it that way or straining it afterwards. just stir a lot to make sure it melts. theres evidently a tony bit of oil separation at the top, assumably from mint extract, but its def very good. also came w a packaged teabag of it in my order, which i gave to my friend. ill probably buy this again. it is very strong on the mint, i added a tiny splash of milk</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-09-25</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-09-25" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="276690331"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Mooky81</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Disappointed :(</span> <span itemprop="description">This was one of my top teas and I over buy every year to stock up when it's no longer available. I did my usual and am now unfortunately stuck with a ridiculous amount of this changed tea. As other reviewers have said, it's way too heavy on the mint now (almost like drinking straight peppermint extract), with no white chocolate or creaminess at all. The only way I've managed to make this drinkable is to essentially make it more like a latte so that's it's 2/3-1/2 tea and the rest milk (well...cashew milk for me). Really disappointed, especially because it doesn't say on this page that the recipe has been changed (it didn't when I ordered it anyway).</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-12-27</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-12-27" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="275588506"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Cakes3054</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Changed the ingredients</span> <span itemprop="description">This used to be my favourite tea. It was so delicious and creamy and I looked forward to it every year. I ordered one in store and was about to buy 200g worth online but realized they changed the ingredients. It is bitter and tastes like vick's vaporub. I was so disappointed I ended up asking the barista if she made the correct tea. When she told me of the change I asked her to make me another tea instead as I didn't like this one at all. What a way to ruin a Christmas favourite, especially by not telling anyone and rolling it out thinking we wouldn't notice.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-11-23</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-11-23" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="275307168"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">1</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Ballgurl73</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Be aware everyone, they&rsquo;ve changed it!</span> <span itemprop="description">I was eagerly awaiting the release of my favourite tea, Candy Cane crush and it was a complete let down. It is nothing like it used to be. Gone is the creaminess of this tea, and replaced with a mint so strong and bitter. Whether you changed the recipe, which you claim in other reviews you haven&rsquo;t or it&rsquo;s just different suppliers this is not the same tea as previous years! No matter how long I let it steep those little snowflakes do not dissolve, and the mint is so overpowering I can&rsquo;t even even taste the tea anymore. It doesn&rsquo;t have the balance of mint and sweetness that it had before. Just VERY strong bitter mint. Now am stuck with 300 grams of a tea I probably won&rsquo;t use. You should be advertising it as a new recipe because it misleading to people who want it like it has been for years.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-11-12</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2023-11-12" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="252869564"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="https://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">tea-fanatic</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Lovely Winter Treat</span> <span itemprop="description">I received this in a sampler. Overall, I really liked this one, which I am surprised because mint usually deters me from tea. The mint, sweetness, and chocolate combined very well to bring out the best features of each flavour. I didn't find the chocolate melted all the way the two times I steeped it, which I would have preferred to see if it could come out a bit more buttery/creamy. I did order more because I may try to steep it in different ways to see if that works better. I did enjoy it enough to order more, but not one I would buy a large amount of. Definitely a lovely holiday treat though; has a very cute tea name and a nice combination of flavours.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-12-21</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-12-21" /> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-reviewsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-reviews--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.davidstea.com/ca_en/shop/candy-cane-crush-tea/10585DT01VAR0035072.html?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r">Candy Cane Crush Tea Reviews - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2024, m_4, d_15, h_3</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.41</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasreviews, tv_808, tr_455</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_CA, sid_10585DT01VAR0035072, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=RELEVANCE, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_davidstea</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-reviews--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getReviews, 7ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">reviews, product</li> </ul>
