This doesn't taste nearly like anything Candy Apple. After I opened the bag I was instantly turned off. It smells like nail polish remover. I needed a few days to be able to brew some of it. It has a lot of cinnamon taste,but not much apple, nor Candy. The tea burns slightly on my tongue and throat, and I have to think about the nail polish remover right away again. The name for this tea is completely off. Has nothing close to Candy Apple. I think that is the worst smelling tea( when still in bag) I have ever experienced from DT. Not a fan at all. This tea smells very strongly of nail polish remover. After you pour the water in, the smell immediately changes to more apple and cinnamon-like but the flavour is underwhelming. I had it straight with no milk or sugar and it was very bland. Yes, I tasted apple and cinnamon as well as a sort of unidentifiable flowery taste that I guess is supposed to be the candy? Nowhere near tart or sweet enough to truly be called an apple tea. Not unpleasant though. I put nearly two perfect spoons in 16 oz of hot water and found it took quite awhile (10+ min) to fully steep and release all the flavours. Once it did I enjoyed the cinnamon, candy and apple notes. Nice blend of flavours and not too sweet. Don&rsquo;t smell it in the bag, it is really nail polish like. Once brewed it smells wonderful, I love cinnamon. It doesn&rsquo;t taste anything like candy apple, not sweet. It tasted exactly like eating apples after you ate cinnamon valentines hearts. Not a strong black tea taste. I really like this one and reminds me of fall.
