What is the proper way to clean these mugs? I have only used mine four times and wash in hot soapy water and the sides of the mug feel rough and the color is wearing off. A little disappointed.

I have received my replacement mug and no issues with it; I have used it a number of times and not experiencing the issue of the color coming off. Wanted to provide this update for anyone looking to purchase one. I love mine!
