ain't it grand?

Delicately smooth and velvety, with a bright green colour and refreshing taste, this is one of the highest grade (and most delicious) matchas on earth. To make it, every vein is lovingly removed from green tea leaves, which are then ground into a superfine matcha powder that whisks into an impossibly creamy brew. The ultimate energy boost, detoxifier and treat-yourself tea.

What makes it great

 • The fine grind makes this matcha green tea super creamy and smooth.
 • Matcha is a labour of love – it's made by removing the stems and spines of the tea leaves and then grinding the leaf into a fine powder.
 • Because you're ingesting the entire leaf, you get 100% of the benefits, plus an energy boost.

I'm basing my review purely on taste as I do like a strong matcha. At first, I wasn't a big fan of the taste, but I think it was because of the way I prepared it. For reference, I solely use a matcha whisk to prepare my matcha, but the first time is always the worst (kind of like your first pancake in a batch). I've slowly perfected my recipe for an iced matcha latte and it is perfect to my liking and I really enjoy this matcha's flavour. I would say it has the classic grassy and earthy notes and is also really smooth. I would recommend this as something to have in the kitchen whenever you are feeling a matcha drink.
Date published: 2020-06-07

Rated 5 out of 5 by I love matcha from Good quality matcha I have been buying David's tea Ceremonial matcha every month for a long time now, this matcha is my second favorite it's pretty close to there Ceremonial matcha and it cost a little less. I drink my matcha every morning with collegen powder that's it, I enjoy the taste of both matcha's I find them both to be very good quality. I can't start my day without my David's tea matcha.
