This exquisite stone-ground matcha is like the unicorn of the green tea world. What makes it so rare? Not just that it’s made by removing every little vein from the highest quality tencha leaves. It’s also 100% organic! Japan has so few organic tea gardens that getting our hands on a top-notch organic matcha wasn’t easy. But we made it happen – bigtime. This one hails from Nishio, a region with an 800-year reputation as the world’s finest matcha producer. And with its fresh aroma, velvety-smooth mouthfeel and sweet, creamy notes of whipped butter, every sip is a luxury.

This matcha green tea powder comes packed in a printed tea tin that's giftable too!

It&rsquo;s a good price point as well. But you definitely don&rsquo;t need to use 2-4 spoons of it: that would be waaay too much in your cup. You can even start with half a teaspoon, as that is milder if you&rsquo;re not accustomed to a strong matcha. Also, don&rsquo;t even think about dumping it in your cup: you need to sift it through a fine mesh strainer so it doesn&rsquo;t clump when you add water.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2020-12-18</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2020-12-18" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="253149647"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">3</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Sue27</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Disappointed</span> <span itemprop="description">I've been drinking Ceremonial grade matcha for close to 20 years and the colour, taste and texture of your ceremonial matcha has declined over the last few years.
