<span itemprop="description">Peanut butter is a distinct flavour. ideally, as the name suggests, it would contain peanut (or at least any nut but then it wouldn't be peanut butter it would be nut butter...). David's Tea has two peanut butter teas neither of which tastes anything like peanut butter. who keeps testing these teas? have they ever tasted peanut butter? interacted with it? these empty promises are breaking me...
look, i love hojicha and im always down for it, but not this. combine enough powders together and what do you get? soot. i tried to select a flavour for this tea below but "sweet and ashy" wasn't an option. earthy to the point of questionable with a potent cocoa flavour. cane sugar and cocoa are a strong combo that completely overpowered the tea and "nut" flavours. coupled with the chalky texture (signature of hojicha) and it's not a great experience.
it's palatable but after a while the dissociative crisis sets in as i try to convince myself i'm not drinking diatomaceous earth.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This made a really yummy latte, though I didn't get as much foam as I usually do with my matcha. It is essentially a hot cocoa (not a hot chocolate!) with hojicha powder added to give it those extra smoky, nutty flavours you would expect. The two go really well together. I look forward to trying this as an iced latte as well.</span>

I can't really taste the chocolate or the peanut butter in it. It just has a slight sweetness wouldn't say this is my favorite. Don't think I'd buy it again, there's just no flavor there.. There's a oddly citrucy aftertaste kind of unexpected.</span>

Hot Cocoa Flavour – No obvious signs of the Peanut Butter – Really off-putting pungent aroma. Love Hojicha tea but it appears to have created a nasty smell when combined with Chocolate. Would rate this tea higher were it not for the aroma - @ the moment, it is all we can smell in our kitchen. Have disposed of the tea after two tastings.</span>

I usually do the flavoured matcha’s from David’s Tea but decided to try this out because it was low caffeine. It tastes just like peanut butter cups and I will be buying more. A half tablespoon is more than enough to flavour my shake.</span>
