<span itemprop="description">I had been seeking a special mug for my Matcha Green Tea lattes. The mugs I have were not quite big enough. I use a combination of several plant-based milks and then add the matcha mixture, which makes for a huge, lovely brew. Not only does this mug handle the volume, you can see the beautiful, creamy light-green tea and froth. Also, the packaging was excellent. This glass mug was delivered wrapped, inside its own small box, then carefully wrapped and packaged inside a larger box for perfect shipment. Such a wonderful experience for those who like their matcha!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this 1.5 months ago as a birthday present for myself, and it was so lovely! It’s amazing to use because you can see the latte separation if you use a coffee machine, and you can see the beautiful colour of different teas. However it feels fragile just to look at it and when setting it down you have to be careful. As someone who is very clumsy (I have a broken glass box in my house ☹️) it was only a matter of time before I inevitably set it down too hard.. So if you’re good with glass, I 100% recommend and it’s a beautiful mug, but if you’re clumsy like me or simply human, don’t get too attached to it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought two of these mugs last year, and I love the size of them. However, it states on the mug they are dishwasher safe, and I had one of them blow the bottom of the glass in my dishwasher! I would love to get a replacement as I still love the mug!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I read a number of reviews about this mug and despite reading about another customers experience with it breaking in their dishwasher, I decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway. I never seem to have a mug big enough for lattes and I had been looking for a mug that borders on being ridiculously large.
This mug is nearly the size of a soup bowl, and I mean that as a compliment. I never made a latte that was too big for this mug. It was lightweight, kept my lattes warm, and overall was the perfect mug.
Yesterday I opened my dishwasher (this mug is labelled dishwasher safe) to find that the bottom of my mug had broken off. I was devastated, and my mug looked nearly identical to the photo shared by another reviewer. I assume there must be some kind of faulty manufacturing at play here. It’s such a shame, it was otherwise my dream mug.</span>

I normally drink my tea straight up and this mug is great to show off all the different colours David’s provides in variety. The glass is very durable, easy to clean and due to the double wall doesn’t get too hot on the hands. Everyone needs this mug!</span>

I bought this almost as soon as I came to Toronto for the first time and my wife introduced me to David's Tea as a proud Canadian alternative to Teavana. I fell in love with this mug and had it for a few years until it was accidentally broken. The mug isn't fragile, but it is glass so understand what you are buying. For the last 6 or 7 years I have been disappointed by the size of all the mugs I have purchased and my wife has playfully teased me about all the mugs that I keep buying. I was trying to find this mug again and I THOUGHT I had bought it at Tevana. I didn't realize it was actually from David's Tea until it came in the mail today!
This is my favorite home mug, period. I like my tea and coffee in large quantities and I have been jealous of my wife when she got her 20 oz mug as a gift. This mug is extremely large compared to most. For size comparison, 20 oz is the size of an extra-large coffee at McDonald's or a venti at StarBucks. It is the same height of an average mug, but it is extra-wide. Many people find this too large and gave the cup a bad review (unfairly in my opinion) even though it is clearly stated, so be aware of what you are buying. If you like large mugs and glass, this is the mug for you.
I'm pretty sure it is made out of borosilicate glass, so it is lighter than you expect, but it also is a bit more fragile than your regular expresso mug that you would buy at Canadian Tire or Kitchen Stuff Plus. But as long as you don't leave it in the sink where other objects can crash into it, it will hold up just fine. Mine was fine until a pot literally was dropped on it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Don’t know if they changed manufacturers for this mug or what , based on previous glowing reviews, but the mug I purchased in Ottawa seems to be a dud. Such a broad mug should not have a lip that curves outward, as it drips/spills. I don’t like feeling the bulky seam of the double wall in the interior.</span>

No, the mug is too wide at the top. The filter sinks in. I&rsquo;ve used it anyway though, and just made due by propping it on a couple chopsticks laid across the top of the mug! It&rsquo;s better than buying teabags all the time, and I still get to use my mug without having to brew the tea elsewhere.&nbsp;
