Just make sure the lights are on when you pour your water… Not dishwasher or microwave safe.

Place the infuser into vessel and scoop in loose leaf tea.

Add hot water, cover with lid and let it steep.

Use lid as saucer to rest infuser on once your tea is ready to sip.

<span itemprop="description">Just got mine... I hesitated before buying this mug, but I'm glad I did now. Love the design on this one, and the matte grey looks even better in person than it does on the website. I don't drink tea in the dark too often, but the glow in the dark effect is still kinda cool (I'm sure kids would love it). It's the same good quality as David's other Nordic mugs, the lid fits nice and snug; no defects or problems to report.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The mug is disappointing. I own a lot of David's Tea mugs, and the craftsmanship of this is what you would expect in their mugs. Solid, reliable, cute design. That said, they have vastly oversold its glow in the dark capacity. My experience with the mug is that you need to leave it in the full sun to charge (or strong light possibly though I can't vouch for that). It will glow once you've done that - but who is going to charge up a mug before using it? If your cupboards are like mine, they are dark. So I'd essentially have to leave my mug on a window ledge all the time and not inside a cupboard. This is genuinely a first for me with a David's Tea product - but I was disappointed. Super cute design - just don't expect it to glow on a regular basis.</span>
