I feel that it defeats the purpose of the selection. Also it is pretty but the boxes that the tins come in are sooooo huge and therefore mostly empty. Lastly, I wish the tins still had their clear covers so that you can see what tea is inside. My husband surprised me with this World Calendar this year, and I have to say I&rsquo;m a bit disappointed. The presentation is lovely and the premise is great, but the variety of teas is very poor. I was shocked they didn&rsquo;t have a Canadian tea considering this is a Canadian company. Yet they have duplicates of other countries, a USA &amp; 2 US territories(the tea isn&rsquo;t even from those territories, just inspired by them)! The individual boxes are quite large for the size of the container within, leaving quite a lot of wasted space. I do like they wrote the information of each tea inside on the back of each box this year making it easier to find what you are looking for. I know you're hurting, I know you want adventure in your life, but I also know that some days, you want to experience that in a cup. That's what Around the World in 24 Teas Advent Calendar gives you. A sip of the old world, a sip of the new world, a sip of &quot;I think I'm not in Kansas anymore&quot;. This year you get some luxury delivered straight to your taste buds. Did you know the Czech Republic was responsible to growing tea? Neither did I, but guess what, you're a better person for now having experienced it. Close your eyes and sip on some of that green stuff, is that China? Korea? Japan? Who knows, but you just saved yourself a 20 hour flight and several hundred dollars. We are also huge David&rsquo;s Tea fans.This is our third David&rsquo;s Tea advent calendar as we bought the 24 days of Christmas (green and red) advent calendars the previous 2 years. Firstly, the &lsquo;Teas Around the World&rsquo; is far more expensive than the other 2 advent calendars or tea wheels. I bought this one on Black Friday and it is still more expensive than the other Advent Calendars. I was surprised that there is quite a bit of wasteful packaging in the box. For example, you can fit 3 of the small tea containers in one small display box instead of just one. The teas do repeat a bit but there are some new ones as well. You can make 2 or even 3 cups of tea with each small container. David&rsquo;s Tea are quite a decadent gift at Christmas and I would encourage people to buy them on Black Friday or on sale as the teas are expensive. Again, we are talking tea.
