We thought we were given the wrong tea at first, but noticed the list of ingredients on the lable had changed. We tried it as it still promised a Maple Syrup taste. This tea doesn't come close to the old version and certainly tastes nothing like maple. The apple and cinnamon overpowers any other flavours this tea may have had. It really should have been released under a different name. It's very misleading to people who loved the old, very mapley version(like my husband and I). We're very disappointed in this new recipe and wish I was able to get my money back.
Date published: 2019-11-29

Rated 1 out of 5 by Yukihana from Too fruity and sweet I've been drinking the old recipe of Oh Canada since the first local David's Tea opened in my city and it was my favourite tea without caffeine. When I went to buy a refill, I was surprised they had changed the recipe. Decided to give it a try anyway and was shocked at how different it was, and in a bad way. The new Oh Canada is way too fruity, with a very strong and strange artificial sweetener after taste that I did not enjoy at all. Even the maple fragrance is gone. The new scent is closer to apple and cinnamon. Please bring the old recipe back!
Date published: 2019-11-14

Rated 1 out of 5 by DLovesTea from This is not Oh Canada! With my last two orders of Oh Canada Rooibos loose leaf tea, I noticed that it looked and tasted very different from the tea I remembered and loved. At first I thought it was an error, but then when I received my new order yesterday and saw again that it looked and tasted different – so different that I thought I had mixed up my tea, in fact – I decided to review the ingredients. Indeed, it is different than it was before. I am sorry to say that I do not like this tea at all and now I have 150 grams of it. Aside from the horrid sweetness it has, the flavors reminded me of cough medicine and chinese herbal medicinal soup. I gave it to my mom in hopes she would like it and finish the tea, but she also hated the taste. I think it's the monk fruit that is giving the weird flavor.
