I brought some with me in the car, and the rest of my family was practically salivating over the smell. I was so disappointed it wasn’t sold in stores this year. I tried after to get some online, and it was unavailable. As soon as I saw it was back in stock, I bought a ton. Please bring this back in stores! I love it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was happy to find this tea in my advent calendar! My favourite tea was the Gold Rush from several years ago, I was so sad when they discontinued it. The Caramel Shortbread reminds me SO much of it. Perhaps its the elderberries in it? Not sure, but creamy and delicious without anything added to it. You should keep it available year round!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall, I am blown away by the caffeine-free herbal teas from DT.
I received this in a sampler. I find I am picky with herbal/green teas, but the herbal teas keep making their way into my cart/wish list, so I may have to stop saying that.
I love that this is caffeine-free most of all, as I have to limit my caffeine intake, so this fits into my daily schedule easily.
This will definitely satisfy a sweet-tooth. I think I had a different idea in mind for the taste 'Caramel Shortbread', but regardless, it does has a lovely treat taste and is especially nice with a piece of chocolate or a cookie. I know I will be enjoying it with my desserts once I receive more in my order.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This tea had great reviews, so I decided to check it out. It's good! But I detect no flavours that are anything like shortbread or caramel. It's actually much more familiar to another of my favourites: Forever Nuts. The aroma and flavour isn't exactly the same, but it's pretty close.
Overall, I like it! It's not what I expected, but it turned out alright.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I ordered this tea online and it arrived in a beautiful, colorful canister-unfortunately the tea tastes nothing like it's description. It smells wonderful but brews as a watery tea with the flavor of stale apples...I used the recommended 1-2 spoons of tea and this produced a very pale yellow, watery tea with no flavor. I increased this to 3-4 spoons, steeped a cup again, and it became a copper-amber color with the taste of stale apples. I wonder if this batch was made incorrectly or I was shipped the wrong tea inside the canister by mistake? This is going in the garbage, I would like a refund asap.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I opened this tea package, it smelt amazing! Buttery, caramel, all the goods. But once I steeped it into a hot tea it's more nutty. Plus the brown sugar makes it pretty sweet so you can't really control the sugar content. It's not a bad tea it's just not the flavour profile I wanted out of the name</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love the sweet and decadent teas but I found this too sweet and almost watery. I doubled the scoops and tried again and this time it was sweet but almost artificial tasting to me. I threw it out. I'll stick with my butterscotch chai.</span>

How does it compare with creme caramel rooibus that they discontinued?

I found the creme caramel rubios was not as flavourful. Like actual Creme caramel, it has a mild flavour. Still very good, but I prefer the Caramel Shortbread, just wish I could get it more than just at Christmas time.
